Hotel Exe Barcelona Gate - Sant Joan Despi

Staff welcomed me with smiles upon arrival. I appreciated the early check-in, made my long journey easier. Room had a spacious vibe, clean and comfortable. Breakfast options were decent, but the bacon was spoiled, disappointing. The location felt quiet, yet getting to the city center took a bit of time with public transport. Bit of noise from the nearby highway could be heard at night, even with the windows closed. No kettle in the room was frustrating, although staff managed to find one for me later. A consistent cleaning routine could improve room upkeep, as I noticed the floor wasn't fully cleaned .

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport. The highway signs are easy to follow to reach the airport. Finding the hotel is a bit more stressful. The hotel is a good 10 block walk to the nearest subway stop. The onsite parking is secure and very reasonably priced.

Appreciated Sant Joan Despi, the hotel was comfortable by Taxi it's almost 24 €. Comforts of big size room with big bathroom were fabulous. The staff was excellent and gentle - I would absolutely stay here again.

Comfort in a quiet neighborhood

The staff was attentive and kind, our needs were met, including early check-in. The room was large, clean, and comfortable.

Large rooms, beds abd bathroom, very clean and comfy. Good return for the money!

Little far from downtown, but metro station is 5-10 minutes away. Parking available, for a cost. Entry from highway a bit tricky due to several one-way roads.

Significant distance from city center!!! Slow Wi-Fi connectivity in certain areas!!! Missing basic amenities like a kettle and coffee-making options!!! Poor soundproofing between rooms and noise from external traffic!!!

Big bed in the guest room, plus an air conditioning, a mini bar and a work desk. Quiet atmosphere within the hotel, gentle staff.

Very nice hotel, easy to find. The rooms are modern, comfort and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a big and secure garage. Good value for money.The neighborhood is residential area, very nice and quiet, there are lot of cafeterias, snack bars, restaurants and a supermarket. The hotel is 5-10 minutes walk to the train station and it takes 15 minutes to the city center (Plaza Cataluna).

Expensive breakfast.

Good location - 10 minutes from the center of Barcelona by car, free wi-fi, parking was included in the praice.

Loved the spacious room with a comfy work area and a clean vibe! Breakfast spread was nice too. Just a bummer about the far location from the city center. 😅

Staying at Exe Hotel in Sant Joan Despi was a delight! The staff's warmth, and I loved exploring the local shops and fine quiet streets. Breakfast options were excellent and energizing for my daily adventures!

The room was very good for the price. Friendly staff at the reception. Travel Tip: To reach the hotel from the city, take the trains R1-R4 and get down at Sant Joan Despi (any other mode of transport takes too long!)

Location was difficult to find. The room only had 2 separate beds (inspite of us requesting for one with a double bed)
